If relaxing weekend getaway or a peaceful mid-week break is what you are looking for, Get Set Camp Bhandardara lakeview camp is just right for you. Nothing beats waking up in the lap of nature and breathing in fresh air, away from all the stressors of the city life. Our campsite is situated near Bhandardara Lake, which is formed due to the water coming from Pravara River through Wilson dam. From the campsite, you get a panoramic view of Arthur Lake as well as an access to the beautiful nature trails. When the water level in lake rises, the area becomes like an island. We also make sure there is a balance between ‘getting back to the basics’ and comfort level. Some of the amenities provided at our campsite include tent stay, toilets, delicious village-style food specially made at the campsite, and free parking spot. Camping in the outdoors and observing the beauty of nature can be a relaxing and insightful experience. Come, take a walk in the woods, soak in the pristine beauty of nature, and come out taller than the trees.
From Mumbai: There are regular trains from Mumbai to Kasara. From Kasara railway station you get shared/private jeeps towards Bhandardara dam. (In case you get confused with direction just call the local coordinator & let him explain the direction to the Jeep driver.)
By private vehicle: Just follow the google map directions provided in your booking confirmation email
We do not serve/supply alcohol but you can carry your own stuff.

The campsite is completely safe for women & children. The campsite staff is present at the campsite at all times to assist you.
The food we provide is in a very good quantity & does not fall short. In case you want to order something extra it can be done by paying at the campsite directly. (subject to availability)
The mobile network is weak in some areas. But you get enough signal to make calls.
There are no wild animals around.
Camping is meant for all to experience hence we do not have any such restrictions.
As camping is an outdoor activity, the washrooms are cleaned & maintained regularly.
The staff at the campsite are locals who manage & maintain the campsite. They will be there throughout your stay to assist you. We believe camping is best experienced when you get to know the locals & their culture.
Yes. Since camping takes place in an open environment you may find a few cats or dogs around.
It was my second time here but unlike last time it was a rainy day so the tents were setup beneath a shelter for rain protection. The lake is at 5 min walking. The staff is good and the meals are cooked fresh at the campsite. The best part about the monsoon was the nearby waterfalls at the campsite. Since its a remote location it was like our own private falls. Would recommend the campsite for the winters after August.
We had visited in February. The location was great & the camps where setup on the lake side. Meals are very basic & are cooked on firewood by the staff . Washroom was far from the campsite as the tents where setup near the lake. Overall a good camping experience.
Awesum experience! We were an all gal group. Since it was our first camping experience we had some concerns about the safety. Once we reached the camps we were struck by the raw rustic setup and the beauty of the place. Thank fully it wasnt raining. The camps were setup in jungle kinda area overlooking the lake from above. The tents were under a metal shed due to monsoon. We had some hot maggie and went for a quick dip in the lake. The staff is local who speak mainly marathi but also speak hindi (not fluent). Despite of the communication gap the coordinator was attentive to our requirements and also showed us around the forest on request. There is an island near the camp which forms only during the monsoon. Its a must see. Cons: The washroom is basic Indian styled & does not have running water. The parking was away from the campsite but the coordinator assured us that its a safe area. No electricity but they had portable lamps & battery operated lighting. Pros: The campsite is kinda rustic and will give you a adventurous feeling. The staff is kind hence safety was never a concern. The campsite has many private waterfalls nearby during rainy. Cant wait to visit in the winters. Thank you
Superb night sky...loved every bit of it. Highly recommended!
The location is really beautiful. Amenities are very basic. Had a great time. The staff were locals and were very kind. They helped us arrange transports as well. Would be back in the winters for sure.
Had a very bad experience. No amenities at the campsite. The staff did not speak English or even proper hindi. The location is very remote. We expected proper lighting and electricity but nothing provided. There were 2 dogs in the vicinity. This camp is not good at all. no comfort no luxury. Not at all recommended.
Super rustic camp located far from the city...the location is mind blowing..just woww!! The tents were cute and cozy bonfire made it perfect. Mind you there is no electricity here just portable lamps. But it was a full moon and the entire area got lit up. The washroom is basic indian type. The staff was local and thankfully cld speak hindi..pheww! In all a super camping exprnc..will be back in the winters as the coordinator said it drops to 10 degrees there.
Beautiful location for camping. Staff was very helpful. The campsite is rustic but a good adventure camping expereince.
Service was pretty bad, we asked them to light up bonfire around 7pm as it was pretty cold, but they made us wait till post dinner by then we were already shivering. Dinner was good but was served pretty late desite of our many requests to serve a bit ealry. There aren't any washrooms near camps so it becomes quite difficult during night. We could hear people peeing near our tent.
Good Food and location but everything else was horrible. Ruined our new year night celebrations. 1. I have booked 5 doble occupancy tents for 10 persons and when I reached there, found 4 double occupancy tent and 1 single occupancy tent. When we asked them about it, that person tried to convince us that it is a double tent even though that tent is half the size of other tents. 2. When we asked about lighting a campfire as it was getting cold, they said they will light it after dinner. As it was already past 9 pm, we have to light the campfire ourself. Later, when we requested some more wood (as we have to stay awake till midnight), that man said, "no more wood available and if you want more wood come with us in the jungle and we will bring it." 3. Now the Worst part. TOILETS. They have dug the ground and fitted Indian seating toilets in that dug. They have covered the toilet with a tent and just a single curtain at the door. No lock to the toilets. It was a very horrible experience for the girls. 4. No pillows provided in the tent. Surely will never visit them again and will not recommend at all.
