Pawna lake camping near Mumbai & Pune, located about 15kms from Lonavala, is a beautiful location that is ideal for a great weekend getaway. Camping right by the lake adds on to the experience. By the day, you can take up recreational and outdoor activities, relax and enjoy life at your own speed. At night, gather around the campfire (the much needed source of warmth for most nights) and bond over the hot served delicious food sprinkled with some fun stories. You can also try your hand at cooking BBQ or just lie back and indulge in star gazing. All of these make Lonavala camping an experience of a lifetime for you and your buddies.

  • There are regular trains from Mumbai and Pune to Lonavala. From Lonavala railway station, you get shared/private jeeps to the campsite.
  • By private vehicle: Follow the google map directions provided in your booking confirmation email

  • Cancellation 72 hours before the stay will incur 10% deduction
  • Cancellation 48 hours before the stay will incur 50% deduction
  • No refund on cancellation 24 hours prior or on the day of the stay

    Our campsite is open throughout the year. We do not operate on days with rough weather.

    Is the campsite safe for women?

    The campsite is completely safe for women & children. The campsite staff is present at the campsite at all times to assist you.

    How is the mobile network at the campsite?

    The mobile network is good for calling. Data network is average.

    Are there wild animals nearby?

    There are no wild animals around.

    Are unmarried couples allowed?

    Camping is meant for all to experience hence we do not have any such restrictions.

    Are the washrooms clean?

    As camping is an outdoor activity, the washrooms are cleaned & maintained regularly.

    Who are the staff at the campsite?

    The staff at the campsite are locals who manage & maintain the campsite. They will be there throughout your stay to assist you. We believe camping is best experienced when you get to know the locals & their culture.
